Hi,  My name is Yothika  and I live in Montreal, Quebec, Canada.
I'm a High School Student.


 

I'm 16 year old. I'm 5'5" and 109lbs.
My passions are going shopping, watching tv, going to msn, fighting with my sister and brother and listening to music( hip hop, rock and tamil songs).
I love KFC as a fast food restaurant, especially the chicken burgers.
I like to watc movies(English, Hindi and tamil) and my favourite movies are 4 brothers and step up.
Watching scoccer is also another favourite past times i have.
I also like to play piano, and play  some of my favourite songs.
I love Harveys, Tim Hortons ( always love to have a french vanilla in the morining ) and pretty much every single fast food restaurant.
Another thing I enjoy doing is playing with my uncle's baby who is 2 years old.

My Possible career in the future. (According to Career Cruising) 

      One of the assignments we had to do in class was to answer a set of questions concerning possible 
 career choices for the future. The program was called Career Cruising. After answering each set of 
 questions we saw results based on our answers. The top 5 most likely careers appear at the very top. 
 They are as follows:

There are many things I wanted to change in this school, the specific ones are for our computer classes. We need new computers, not the slow ones we have now. The second idea is for washrooms because they are always dirty and smell so bad, it’s better to have a clean washroom that prevent kids from diseases. The third idea is for kids who love to play sports, to have good equipments because its all damaged and a better field would be good because when it rains the water stays on the field and it gets all muddy. This gives hard times for the kids to play.

What i would do to make this world a better place?
 

My Teacher asked me to answer the Questions, My ideas on what I would do to make the wold a better place? Here is my response in writing.

There are many things I would like to change to make this world a happier place. The world is good, but could be better. There are also many bad things happening in the world. There are things like jealously, revenge, terriostism, racism, sexism, etc.

First, I would like to change jealously, because it’s the worst thing out of everything. If I change jealously around the world, there will be many things that will be changed around. Jealousy typically refers to the thoughts, feelings, and behaviors that occur when a person believes a rival is threatening a valued relationship. Jealousy is the most powerful complex emotion experienced at by people. Jealously could be between two people, two countries, two parties, or between your sisters and brothers.

The second thing I would like to change is revenge, because revenge consists primarily of relations against a person or group in response to a perceived wrongdoing. The revenge wish consists of forcing the perceived wrongdoer to suffer the same pain that they inflicted in the first place, or making sure that the wrongdoer can never inflict such injuries upon anyone else. Everyone in the world probably encountered with revenge. It can vary from you being the one to revenge, or just being the victim in this hateful crime. Revenge has been a popular theme for art and culture throughout history.

If I change these two things in the wold, this world will be the happiest place. Jealously comes first and then revenge comes second. If we get rid of these two things, this world will be way better. I hope some day, people in the world will understand how jealously and revenge affects everything.

Fashion Clothing.                   Soccer Italia.  

My Prospective Business Venture. 

     Another assignment we had was to write a short memo to our teacher explaining what a possible 
 business venture will be about. Below you will see a copy of that letter:

Dear MR.Steinberger,

                  I would  like to operate one day either a fashion clothes store or a sporting clothes 
store.(mostly soccer). 

               The businesses will probably be called fas and for the music store it will be called Music Mania. Soccer Italia will have the sporting goods you need to be on the field in style. 

              Everything from soccer shoes (indoor and outdoor) to soccer shorts, jackets, and jersey’s. I’d have around 5-10 employees for each store, some would take care of the store and many would advertise for it. Then I will have some employees to sell the merchandise. 

             The location will be somewhere in downtown Montreal, probably St. Cathrines.  I would need loads of stuff especially for the Fashion and clothes.( many types of fashion clothes from dfferent cultures, ( western styles, classical styles, indian styles, and etc ) and for spoting clothes ( all types of  sports equipments, jersey's, jackets, shoes and all the other things you needed in sports  ). i would like to start this bussiness because i love fashion and diffenrt types of styles from each country, this is a good bussiness where i could earn lot of money because you could have diffent types of customers from diffent countries. This place is the best place  where they could find all types of fashion clothes from different countries and their cultures.

I was born in Srilanka, Jaffna on May 13, 1990. 

My mom immigrated to Montreal when she got married to my dad from Srilanka and my dad imigrated when he was in 20 from Srilanka.. Both my parents are Srilanka (from Jaffna). My Grand-Parents immigrated here from Srilanka around the year 1980. 
My grand-father was in the war and he then married my grand-mother around 1948. My Grand parents on my mom's side then gave birth to my mom in 1964 who is the youngest one in the family, and before giving birth to four more boys and three girls. in my dad's side, grand-parents gave birth to three sons and 2 daughters, my dad was the youngets one,who was born in 1961. My grand parents moved to Toronto with their other 5 childeren but my mother stayed in Sirlanka with her uncle and my dad lived in montreal and then went back to Sri lanka and got married to my mother in 1988 and he planned to live in Srilanka. my parents adopted my dad's brother's daughter in 1989 who was 15 years old.In 1990 my parents then gave birth to me. I am secound child after me, I have a brother who was born in 1992 and then my sister who was born in 1994. My paents are Hinduism. My dad decided to go to Canada because of the that was going on between in tamils and sinhalese. My mother, sister and my brother moved to Colombo and my dad went to Canada.  my dad sponsered us and we came to Toronto in 1998.

My dad was in montreal and my mother, my sister, my bother and me were in Toronto with my uncle. i studied until grade 06 and then I moved to montreal to live with my dad. I stated my high School in a pivate school (Greaves Adventist Academy). Then I moved to Rosemount High School in 2003 and I'm in my 5th year at this school. 

These sixteen years I've met many great people who I like to hang with all year around I love special Sri lankans food from my mother and grand mother. In future I plan on going to college and succeding in my profession but now i will try to do my best at school and have fun time with my friends.
